Oxford House

Bethnal Green, London
2020

Oxford House was established in 1884 by Oxford University as a sort of outreach centre of it’s time, a ‘settlement house’, where students from Keble College would come and live. A sort of mini Oxford college in the heart of Victorian east London.

Since then it has developed into a thriving arts and community centre, with a theatre, gallery, youth clubs and work spaces.

As part of a major refurbishment I developed a series of graphics that referenced it’s rich historical legacy, primarily based around custom typographic uses of the Infini typeface.
